BREAD WINNER PUDDING WITH VANILLA SAUCE™March 20, 2016
My Apple Bottom Cobbler is a favorite comfort food dessert, especially when it's warm from the oven. It's gonna be your favorite desert after a family dinner.
- 10 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 eggs slightly beaten
- 2 sticks butter melted
- 10 slices white bread
- ¼ tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vanilla flavor
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease 9x13 inch pan. Place apples in pan. Cut crust from bread. Cut each slice in five fingers. Place bread in rows over apples. Melt butter in bowl, mix sugar, flour and cinnamon. Also, add melted butter. Add eggs and mix well. Pour mixture evenly over bread in baking pan. Bake 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
