This recipe is going to knocks your socks right off your feet. Sweet, buttery cornbread with the perfect velvety texture and comes out right every time!
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup butter
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups corn meal
- 3 cups milk
- ½ cup sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix all ingredients together in mixing bowl with wire whip. Pour batter into a lightly greased 10 in. square pan. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
